Alan has been involved in sports/athletics for 30+ years. Alan was a 3-sport athlete in High School and college, also participated in Pro/Am leagues as well as at the professional level.
Alan decided to pursuer a career in athletic training/athletic movement, along with health and fitness to improve his own performance on the field. It was here, where he mastered knowledge of the body, movement, speed, flexibility, quickness along with “functional”/ sport specific power, strength and balance.
Alan has been ACE Certified for well over 15 years and has acquired the knowledge and expertise in various fitness disciplines which include Sports Specific (functional) training, Exercise Physiology/Kinesiology, Exercise Psychology, Proprioceptive (balance) Training, Sports Nutrition…just to name a few.
Alan truly believes in the importance of developing well-balanced individuals in the areas of health and fitness at any level. Teaching individuals/athletes the importance of proper health, fitness, nutrition, movement, goal setting, and self respect, are the basic fundamentals and foundation to Alan’s training methods.
Alan strongly feels that our job is not just to fill up an hour for an individual/athlete with as many drills or exercises as possible. Our job is to put the crosshairs on the problem and come at that problem 3 or 4 different ways. From a functional movement stand point, from a force production and reduction stand point and clean that athlete/person up. The best trainers and coaches of all time quickly identify the weakness,the other trainers and coaches just basically maximize the strength of an individual/athlete.
One of his favorite quotes is: “The will to win is not as important as the will to prepare to win.”

Alan is an amazing trainer and recommend him to anyone that is interested in working hard and wants a good healthy way to lose weight and keep it off. He is also very friendly and is always looking out for the trainee! Have been seeing him for a little over a year and I have no reason to want to find another trainer.
